MyxerTones™

MyxerTones™ is a community based website that allows independent artists and their fans to easily communicate and deliver ringtones and wallpapers. The fan can easily and quickly create and send them to their phone for free in an easy three step process. They simply choose the song or image file from their computer, enter their phone number and click the upload button. For ringtones, they then choose where they want the ringtone to start and end in seconds (up to 60 seconds). For wallpapers, one can crop the image and rotate it so it looks just the way its wanted. One then clicks "Send to phone" and Myxer™ then makes a ringtone, and sends a link to your cell phone. One simply follows the link to download the ringtone or wallpaper. The user needn’t worry about what mobile device they have, what network carrier is in the path, what mobile phone plan is used, or what file format the content uses. MyxerTones™ takes care of all the technical aspects of creating the ringtone or wallapaper so the user only has to choose the song or image file.

On the MyxerTones™ website, there also exists an ever growing community of users where users can share and sell ringtones and wallapapers, recommend them, send them to friends, view recently created content, view highest rated and most downloaded ringtones and wallpapers. MyxerTones™ empowers independent artists to effectively address the mobile market and take full advantage of the mobile phone. Independent artists, bands, content producers or accumulators of content can quickly and easily make their content available to mobile phones. Myxer™'s revolutionary MyxerTags™ technology is the answer that takes the mystery out of the delivery of mobile content. Using the MyxerTags™ creation tool, content owners can easily upload and generate a small snippet of web (html) code that can be placed into their website, MySpace page, blog or email for that matter. In a streamlined process that takes less than two minutes, an artist specifies an existing song or image file, provides basic information to identify it and MyxerTones™ creates a MyxerTag™ they can easily add to their MySpace profile, website, or blog. The artist never has to worry about device or carrier specific issues such as file format support, delivery mechanisms, or billing. Simply by creating a MyxerTag™ for their content in its existing format they can deliver and sell (or give away as a promotional tool) their ringtones or wallpapers to the mobile market. When the button associated with the MyxerTag™ is clicked the user enters their phone number and the ringtone or wallpaper is sent to the user’s phone.
