Edinburgh Castle Interface

Edinburgh Castle Interface Opening

By clicking on the image or link to the left you'll view a large version of the opening interface I designed for a CD-ROM entitled "A Virtual Tour of Edinburgh Castle."

Edinburgh Castle Interface Screen

This is a version of the introduction interface for the CD-ROM. The interface displays an opening video (which you can choose to skip) which when done playing, takes you to the main interface.

Edinburgh Castle Interface Screen

This interface displays a 3d map of the castle grounds. You have the option of selecting a 360 degree 3d bird's eye view of any of the main buildings of the castle by simply clicking on the building. You could also chose to jump directly to or take a 3d flythough to a specified area within the castle grounds by clicking on one of several yellow spheres on the map. Once there, you see a 360 degree photopanoramic view of that area of the castle which is linked to other areas and buildings. Through this interface you can visit all of the buildings and areas on the castle grounds and get information on each building and its history.

Edinburgh Castle Interface Exit Screen

This is the exit screen and displays the Spinning Eye (the subsidiary of ProEducation which created educational CD-ROMs) logo.
